This book is about a boy named Bertie. He is a young air raid messenger during world war two. One night he finds a woman lying on the ground he puts his jacket on her and gets help. When he comes back she is gone and no one believes him. This being only one of the interesting things that he stumbled upon that night, his view of the world was changed. It also introduced him to spies.

This is an awesome book. It even has a few spy practice pages that tell you about different codes. I had a great time reading this book so I will rate it four stars.😎Review by Truesmiley
