This book is about a Clan Dacre girl who is veryyy mad. Her name is princess Rowan and life is unfair. Rowan is destined to be queen and her brother Rhydd is destined to be Royal Monster Hunter. Both know that it would be better to switch places, but the oldest always takes the throne and youngest always becomes the Royal Monster Hunter, even if they were born only two minutes apart. That's what happened with Rowan and Rhydd. Rowan is especially mad because Rhydd is going on a gryphon hunt with Jannah, the current Royal Monster Hunter (Rhydd is in training). Will Rowan get what she wants ... or will she reign Tamarel?
