Fish in a Tree is a realistic book about a girl named Ally, who has a problem with words. Whenever she reads or writes, the words turn upside down and backwards or float off the page. Ally wants to solve the problem, but also keep it a secret. With the help of two friends, a teacher, and a fiery personality, can Ally do it, or will she have to endure floating words forever?
This is a sweet book, and it is a good read-aloud full of friendship, and also teaches about dyslexia. This is a good book for intermediate elementary school kids, but an be enjoyed by adults, too. This book definitely gets five stars. Review by: UAC
