This book is about a girl named Kim Ha. She lives in southern Vietnam during the Vietnam war. She is not affected by the war, until it moves closer to her home. Eventually her family decides to escape. It Is a long and scary journey, by boat. Read this book to find out what happens next.

Written all in poetry this is an awesome read for anyone who likes adventure and historical fiction. This is a great book, but sometimes it can get a bit confusing so I rate it four stars.😎 Review by: Truesmiley
