Olive is a little puppy who lives in a city, One day, near Christmas, she keeps hearing the songs go "All of the other reindeer", but she thinks it says "Olive the other reindeer". Then, she sees a note. "Hiring new reindeer," it says. Olive knows she is a reindeer, because the song says so. She goes to the north pole, and actually gets to fly. When Santa's sleigh gets stuck, Olive helps free it. She also helps with various other problems, and is rewarded at the end by getting a pair of antlers from Santa and Mrs. Claus in the north pole.

I liked how this book has a little doggie wit big dreams, and I love the reference to the song 'Rudolf the red-nosed reindeer'. I give this book four stars. Review by: UAC
