This book is about a girl whose name is Rosetta who has two sisters Annette and Esther. It takes place in world war two except across the ocean. Rosetta does not take much notice of the war until her dad announces that they were going to adopt a boy around her age. The boy is coming from Germany where the war was going on. The boy (Isaac) has many secrets to reveal so read this book to find them out.
