This is a story about two dogs and a cat, who's owners have gone on vacation. They leave their pets at a friend's house, but the pets soon set off on a journey to return to their house, 300 miles away, where they believe their owners are. Luath is a young and determined Labrador retriever, Bodger is an old, weak, and very brave Bull Terrier, and Tao is a tireless and bold Siamese. These are domesticated pets, not wild animals. They are all loyal to each other and their owners, and never stray from their goal. But is it possible? Read this book to find out.
This book is such a heartwarming novel of loyalty. At times it was very sad, but at no point did I have any urge to put the book down. This is probably one of the most worn-out books on my shelf, and one of my favorites. Five stars is almost the definition of The Incredible Journey. Review by: UAC
