This book is the first book of the second of Rick Riodan's mythology series. It is about three half-bloods named Jason, Piper, and Leo, who are found on a camping trip at the Grand Canyon and taken to Camp Half-Blood (remember that place?). They learn that Gaea, the Earth Mother, is stirring, and they might be the only ones who can stop her. Also Percy Jackson, a son of Poseidon, has gone missing. Does this have something to do with Piper's missing Dad, Jason's amnesia, and the fact that Leo keeps seeing "ghosts"? Read this book to find out.

This book is awesome! It is action-packed but also filled with humor and the reader can never put the book down. It gets five stars for sure! Review by: UAC
